LOS ANGELES -- David Wright remains in New York getting treatment, and has not yet headed to the Mets' complex in Port St. Lucie, Fla., to begin any type of physical activity, Sandy Alderson told ESPNNewYork.com.

Wright landed on the DL on Aug. 3 with a Grade 2 right hamstring strain -- the middle of three levels of severity.

Terry Collins originally estimated Wright would miss three to five weeks. But the manager has added that Wright returning this season is not a certainty.
Adam Rubin has covered the Mets since 2003. He's a graduate of Mepham High School on Long Island and the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He joined ESPNNewYork after spending 10 years at the New York Daily News.
