Flores twisted his right ankle while stepping on second base going first-to-third in the second inning. He had the ankle taped after the half-inning and subsequently made a diving stop toward the line on a sharp grounder.
Terry Collins said he would check with Flores pregame Tuesday to determine his availability. Flores said he did not require X-rays or other tests.
"It's just sore. That's it," Flores said. "... I was able to play. ... I think I'll be all right."
