NEW YORK -- In the first couple of days after arriving in Port St. Lucie, Fla., on Thursday, David Wright will track live pitching without swinging to get his timing now without overdoing things, Terry Collins said.

But team officials believe Wright will be in games, at least hitting only, as soon as Sunday or Monday, according to the manager. That might allow Wright to return as DH for the Sept. 6-8 interleague series at Cleveland.

Wright is on the disabled list with a strained right hamstring.
