WASHINGTON -- With the exception of Vic Black joining the Mets on Sunday as rosters first expand, Sandy Alderson expects call-ups will wait until after minor league postseasons are complete.

"Probably," Alderson told ESPNNewYork.com. "We'll play it by ear."

Las Vegas entered its Friday night game with a two-game lead over Sacramento -- and the tiebreaker -- with four regular-season games remaining. Binghamton, which has at least fringe promotion candidates Jeff Walters and Darin Gorski, already has qualified for the Eastern League playoffs.
Adam Rubin has covered the Mets since 2003. He's a graduate of Mepham High School on Long Island and the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He joined ESPNNewYork after spending 10 years at the New York Daily News.
