NEW YORK -- Carlos Torres will revert to bullpen duty for a couple of days as the Mets plan to use a modified six-man rotation.

Zack Wheeler enters Tuesday night's start at 163 2/3 innings, giving him likely one additional start this season.

Aaron Harang faces the Giants on Wednesday, followed by Jonathon Niese in Thursday's series finale. That means Daisuke Matsuzaka pitches Friday in Philly, with Dillon Gee going the following day. Torres returns to the rotation Sunday.
