Zack Wheeler was named the fourth-rated prospect in the Pacific Coast League by Baseball America, trailing only No. 1 Oscar Taveras, an outfielder in the St. Louis Cardinals organization, as well as shortstop Jurickson Profar (Texas Rangers) and outfielder George Springer (Houston Astros).

Also in the PCL top 20 from the Mets organization: infielder Wilmer Flores at No. 15 and right-hander Rafael Montero at No. 18.

Wheeler went 4-2 with a 3.93 ERA in 13 starts with Triple-A Las Vegas before making his major league debut on June 18 with six scoreless innings against the Atlanta Braves at Turner Field.

Baseball America previously had released its other league top-20 results. See where Mets farmhands ranked here.
