Harvey ties for 4th in NL Cy Young balloting

ORLANDO, Fla. -- Matt Harvey finished in a fourth-place tie with Atlanta Braves closer Craig Kimbrel in NL Cy Young Award balloting.

The final points tally (with a scoring system of 7-4-3-2-1 for the five spots on the ballot):

Clayton Kershaw, 207 points

Adam Wainwright, 86

Jose Fernandez, 62

• Harvey, 39

• Kimbrel, 39

Cliff Lee, 32

Jordan Zimmermann, 21

Zack Greinke, 18

Madison Bumgarner, 3

Francisco Liriano, 3

Harvey appeared on 16 of the 30 ballots cast.

He had one second-place vote (from Ryan Lawrence of the Philadelphia Daily News), eight third-place votes (including from me), four fourth-places and three fifth-places.
