Muno invited to big-league camp

Infielder Danny Muno has joined Cory Vaughn as prospects getting an invite to big-league spring training camp without being on the 40-man roster.

Muno, 24, is an eighth-round pick in 2011 out of Fresno State.

A switch-hitter, he batted .249 with nine homers, 67 RBIs and 15 steals in 127 games with Double-A Binghamton last season. A shortstop when drafted, Muno played 115 games at second base and 17 games at shortstop with the B-Mets in 2013.
