Dillon Gee will earn $3.625 million in 2014.
Dillon Gee and the Mets have settled on a $3.625 million salary for 2014, sources told ESPNNewYork.com.
Mets brass completed the deal with SSG Baseball agent Bryan Cahill late Friday.
Earlier in the day, Gee had filed for $4.05 million, with the Mets countering at $3.2 million.
Gee went 12-11 with a 3.62 ERA in 32 starts in 2013. He started slowly last season, in his return from July 2012 surgery that repaired a damaged artery in his pitching shoulder. But beginning with a game against the Yankees, Gee pitched highly effectively. He ultimately logged 199 innings last season.
Gee's agreement means six of the team's seven potential arbitration cases have been settled. Only Lucas Duda is believed to remain unresolved.
Gee was first-time arbitration-eligible. He made $527,375 in 2013.
