The Mets have signed lefty reliever Dana Eveland to a minor-league deal that does not include an invite to big-league camp, Chris Cotillo reported.

Eveland, 30, pitched in Korea last season. He last appeared in the majors in 2012 with the Baltimore Orioles, posting a 4.73 ERA in 14 appearances (two starts).
Adam Rubin has covered the Mets since 2003. He's a graduate of Mepham High School on Long Island and the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He joined ESPNNewYork after spending 10 years at the New York Daily News.
