PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. -- Matt Harvey is set to make 20 throws at 60 feet later Saturday morning, on the four-month anniversary of his Tommy John surgery, a team spokesman said.
The Mets had a 9 a.m. team meeting before the first pitchers and catchers workout. The team will stretch afterward. Then Harvey will do his abbreviated session.
Harvey underwent Tommy John surgery on Oct. 22. He is likely to miss the entire 2014 season.
