Wright set for game action

PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. -- David Wright plans to face Mets pitchers in a modified intrasquad game on a back field Thursday after being held out of Grapefruit League action for the first week along with Daniel Murphy to minimize injury risk.

Bartolo Colon (three innings), Jonathon Niese (two innings) and Bobby Parnell (one inning) are scheduled to pitch in that abbreivated 11 a.m. game at the Mets' complex, which includes Mets minor leaguers.

The Mets also will have a "B" game at 10 a.m. and Grapefruit League game at 1 p.m. in Kissimmee against the Houston Astros.
