PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. -- Daniel Murphy, whom Terry Collins hoped would return to the lineup Saturday, is not on the trip to Jupiter to face the Miami Marlins.

He has not played since Sunday due to a right calf injury.

"I feel better. I want to get a workout in today," Murphy insisted.

However, asked if he could get back into the lineup this week, he said: "It's too early to say."
