PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. -- Here is the expected rotation for the remainder of camp:

Monday vs. Cardinals: Daisuke Matsuzaka

Tuesday at Nationals: Zack Wheeler

Wednesday at Astros: Dillon Gee

Thursday: Bartolo Colon (minor-league game, to avoid facing Nationals)

Friday vs. Blue Jays at Montreal: Jenrry Mejia

Saturday vs. Blue Jays at Monteal: Matsuzaka

That Matsuzaka is already penciled in for Saturday further demonstrates he should claim the final rotation spot, barring something catastrophic against the Cards.

Wheeler would go nine days between games until his expected regular-season debut April 3 against Washington. So the Mets will probably have him face batters once in between his last exhibition start and the regular-season outing.
