Mejia leaves game with blister issue

PHOENIX -- Jenrry Mejia departed Tuesday's game against the Arizona Diamondbacks after tossing five scoreless innings because of a blister issue.

The blister, on the tip of Mejia's right middle finger, tore during the game.

The Mets led 9-0 when Mejia departed. He had thrown only 77 pitches.
