Rod Barajas moved from DH to catcher, and from the Gulf Coast League to the Florida State League, for Day 2 of his rehab assignment with the Mets. The catcher, who is on the disabled list with a strained right oblique, went 0-for-3 for the St. Lucie Mets at Palm Beach on Friday night and caught five innings.

It's been a while since Barajas has been in the minors, as you will notice if you click this link and check out the photo minorleaguebaseball.com is using of him.
Adam Rubin has covered the Mets since 2003. He's a graduate of Mepham High School on Long Island and the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He joined ESPNNewYork after spending 10 years at the New York Daily News.
