NEW YORK -- Juan Lagares went 1-for-4 with a strikeout and logged seven innings in center field on Sunday in his first official rehab game with Class A St. Lucie.

Lagares, on the DL with a pulled right hamstring, previously had seen action in extended spring training.

He is eligible to be activated Wednesday, although the Mets may wait until at least the weekend in Colorado. Terry Collins has said he expects Lagares' rehab tour to include a stop with Las Vegas.
Adam Rubin has covered the Mets since 2003. He's a graduate of Mepham High School on Long Island and the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He joined ESPNNewYork after spending 10 years at the New York Daily News.
