Flores departs Vegas game after jam

NEW YORK -- Shortstop Wilmer Flores departed Triple-A Las Vegas' game after three innings with a jammed finger on Sunday, although the injury is not believed to be serious. Flores nonetheless is expected to undergo X-rays on Monday.

He had trouble swinging and throwing before departing.

Flores is hitting .250 (21-for-84) with one homer and 11 RBIs in 20 games with the 51s this season. He committed his sixth error at shortstop Sunday.
