PHILADELPHIA -- Wednesday's Mets-Phillies game has been rained out.

It will be made up on June 2 at 7:05 p.m., on a mutual off day at the end of the next scheduled series in Philly. That series now becomes five games.

As far as the rotation, the Mets will just push each pitcher back a day. So Bartolo Colon pitches Thursday in Colorado, followed by Zack Wheeler, Jenrry Mejia and Dillon Gee. Jonathon Niese, who had been scheduled to face the Rockies, instead opens the following series in Miami.
Adam Rubin has covered the Mets since 2003. He's a graduate of Mepham High School on Long Island and the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He joined ESPNNewYork after spending 10 years at the New York Daily News.
