NEW YORK -- Matt Harvey reiterated Thursday he will not apologize for enjoying what New York has to offer.

“I guess having a life outside of baseball is sometimes not OK,” Harvey told the Post. “I live my life. I enjoy going to Rangers games. I enjoy going to Knicks games. I’m a big sports fan, so going to games is not something I’m going to change doing. I can’t help what people think.”

It's unclear if any new criticism prompted Harvey to offer that statement or if he was just responding to a question.

Harvey expects to get on a mound on June 10 for the first time since undergoing Tommy John surgery.
