WASHINGTON -- In his first rehab appearance since landing on the disabled list with a virus, Gonzalez Germen tossed a scoreless inning for Class A St. Lucie. He allowed a one-out single, but erased the baserunner on a double play.

Germen is eligible to be activated from the disabled list Wednesday, the same day Travis d'Arnaud is eligible to return from the seven-day concussion DL.

At that point, the Mets will need to decide whether to option Germen to Triple-A or drop a reliever from the big-league bullpen to clear a roster spot.
