PHILADELPHIA -- Top prospect Noah Syndergaard is long tossing on flat ground and shoulder reenter Triple-A Las Vegas' rotation Thursday, the Post reports.

Syndergaard flew to New York this week to get a strained flexor pronator checked out. He underwent an MRI that the team suggested was clean and was prescribed shoulder-strengthening exercises by team doctors.

Syndergaard, 21, is 5-2 with a 4.02 ERA in 10 Pacific Coast League starts.
