Injured Rafael Montero departs game

NEW YORK -- Rafael Montero left Triple-A Las Vegas' game at Oklahoma City after throwing only five pitches on Saturday night. A trainer visited the mound before Montero departed. A team official told ESPNNewYork.com the injury is to Montero's left side.

Montero, 23, was making his third Pacific Coast League start since a demotion from the Mets.
