Johnson RBIs and finished a homer shy of the cycle. Johnson greeted starter Adrian Sampson by lining the game's second pitch for a single. He moved to third on Dilson Herrera’s single and scored on Brian Burgamy's groundout. Binghamton then used a two-out push to break through in the fourth. Darrell Ceciliani doubled, Xorge Carillo walked and Pill loaded the bases on an infield single. Johnson plated all three with a triple for a 4-0 lead. Pill sailed through his first four innings without allowing a run, requiring only 48 pitches. Altoona got to the righty in the fifth. Andy Vasquez tripled and scored on Jarek Cunningham's groundout. Binghamton broke the game open and chased Sampson in the seventh. Following Pill’s leadoff single, Herrera and Burgamy had RBI doubles. Dustin Lawley greeted reliever Quinton Miller with a two-run homer. Lawley's 10th long ball of the season gave Binghamton an 8-1 lead. Pill (6-5) ultimately allowed two runs on five hits in 6 2/3 innings. He issued no walks and struck six while extending his unbeaten streak to nine games. Josh Satin remains the only B-Met in franchise history to hit for the cycle (June 24, 2011 at Bowie). Jon Velasquez and Hamilton Bennett combined for 2 1/3 innings of scoreless relief. Box

Stuart SAVANNAH 4, ROME 2: The Gnats took a 3-2 lead on Champ Stuart’s two-run single through the left side in the fourth inning. Stuart also walked twice. After the Gnats took the lead, Savannah starter Alex Panteliodis retired 10 batters in a row. Overall, Panteliodis allowed two unearned runs in 7 2/3 innings to earn his first South Atlantic League win of the season. The Gnats added a run in the eighth. Colton Plaia doubled to plate Jorge Rivero. Rome's unearned runs resulted from a pair of fielding errors by shortstop Yeixon Ruiz. Box
PRINCETON 9, KINGSPORT 3: Miguel Leal drove in all three runs in the loss. Matt Blackham, the organization's 29th-round pick out of Middle Tennessee State, surrendered two runs in two relief innings. Box

GCL CARDINALS 7, GCL METS 3: After starter Logan Taylor tossed six scoreless innings for the Mets, the Cardinals overcame a 3-0 deficit with a seven-run eighth against Derrick Bernard and Nabil Crismatt.
