Flores nabs Pacific Coast League honor

NEW YORK -- Wilmer Flores has been named the Pacific Coast League Player of the Week.

Flores has produced six homers in his past five games with Triple-A Las Vegas and is on an 11-game hitting streak.

He is hitting .373 (19-for-51) with 20 RBIs since his demotion and has seen action at all four infield positions during that span.
Adam Rubin has covered the Mets since 2003. He's a graduate of Mepham High School on Long Island and the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He joined ESPNNewYork after spending 10 years at the New York Daily News.
