NEW YORK -- Jacob deGrom's return to the mound will wait a few more days. "But I feel good," the rookie added after Thursday's 4-1 loss to the Nationals.
DeGrom, on the DL with rotator cuff tendinitis, initially appeared slated to begin throwing off a mound Thursday. But with him not expected to reenter the rotation until next Saturday at Dodger Stadium, waiting a little longer for that activity was deemed to be more sensible.
