4:06 p.m.: Blake DeWitt delivers a three-run homer off R.A. Dickey. His sixth-inning shot to right gives the Cubs a 7-4 lead.

3:51 p.m.: Lucas Duda delivers a double to the right-field corner in the sixth to score Angel Pagan and chase Randy Wells. It was Duda's first major league hit and RBI. Duda had been 0-for-10. Mets 4, Cubs 4.

3:22 p.m.: Alfonso Soriano's three-run homer in the fourth gives Chicago a 4-3 lead.

3:20 p.m.: Teams are running at will on Chris Carter's arm in right field. Xavier Nady's single in the third comfortably scores Starlin Castro from second base.

3:03 p.m.: R.A. Dickey surrenders his first hit on a one-out single by Blake DeWitt in the third inning.

2:31 p.m.: Left fielder Alfonso Soriano doesn't catch David Wright's shot to left, which bounces off the ivy-covered wall for a double that scores Angel Pagan and Lucas Duda, who had a four-pitch walk. ... With runners on the corner's after Ike Davis' single, Joaquin Arias has a run-scoring fielder's choice. Mets lead 3-0 in the first.

2:22 p.m.: Ex-Cub Angel Pagan, in his first at-bat in four days because of right wrist tendinitis, opens the game with a single.

2:20 p.m.: Angel Pagan, who did not bat the past three games because of right wrist tendinitis, is back in the lineup as the Mets open a series against the Cubs. Meanwhile, en route to training room, Johan Santana says: "I'm good."
