Santana scratched, Gee to debut

Johan Santana has been scratched from Tuesday's start as a precaution with a strained pectoral muscle, although Jerry Manuel indicated the left-hander wanted to proceed with the outing. Dillon Gee instead will make his major league debut against the Washington Nationals.
