Game 154: Mets @ Phillies

By Adam Rubin

9:37 p.m.: Dillon Gee earns his second major league win and Hisanori Takahashi picks up the save as the Mets snap their six-game losing streak as well as Philadelphia's 11-game winning streak. Jerry Manuel notches his 200th win as Mets skipper and his 700th career managerial win overall.

8:48 p.m.: Jose Reyes adds an RBI double in what's become a five-run seventh. Mets 5, Phillies 2.

8:44 p.m.: Lucas Duda pinch hits with the bases loaded against replacement Chad Durbin and delivers a three-run double to right-center. Mets lead, 4-2, in the seventh.

8:40 p.m.: Thanks to a Ryan Howard error, Mets load the bases in the seventh. Josh Thole then delivers an RBI single to pull the Mets within 2-1 and chase Kyle Kendrick.

8:37 p.m.: Carlos Beltran attempted a hard slide at second base on a fielder's choice grounder by David Wright. Wilson Valdez and Chase Utley both converged at second, and Valdez fielded the throw from Kyle Kendrick. Beltran missed both Phillies.

8:14 p.m.: As Kyle Kendrick drops down a sacrifice bunt, Josh Thole pounces and throws to second base. Wilson Valdez has a tough slide on former teammate Jose Reyes.

7:27 p.m.: David Wright strikes out for 155th time this season in the second inning. He moves within one strikeout of matching Dave Kingman (1982) and Tommie Agee (1970) for the franchise record for a single season.

7:20 p.m.: Chase Utley singles in his first encounter with the Mets since Friday's postgame chatter, then Ryan Howard launches a two-run homer. Phillies 2, Mets 0 in the first inning.
