The Mets lose, 7-6, in three hours, 26 minutes in Game 1.

7:11 p.m.: The Brewers score two in the eighth, lead 8-7. Jerry Manuel has used seven relievers.

5:42 p.m.: Lucas Duda and David Wright homer in a five-run fourth as the Mets take a 7-6 lead. Wright's two-run shot gives him 100 RBIs for the fifth time in his career.

4:59 p.m.: Jon Niese's 2010 season likely ends on a down note. He's pulled with two outs in a six-run third. Niese will not pick up his 10th win.

4:32 p.m.: Mike Nickeas records his first major league hit, on a two-out single to center in the second inning off Yovani Gallardo.

4:25 p.m.: Jose Reyes is stranded at third base as David Wright pads his single-season franchise strikeout record.
