Mets will appeal scoring, ask for no-hitter

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. -- The Mets concede it is a long shot. But Terry Collins said the club will appeal to have B.J. Upton's infield hit in the first inning Wednesday changed to an error on David Wright. If successful, even though that's highly unlikely, R.A. Dickey would have the second no-hitter by a Met this month -- after the organization went 8,019 games in franchise history without the feat.
