Frank Frank gets lit up at Double-A
By Mike Mazzeo
Frank Francisco's first rehab appearance didn't go so well.
The Mets closer, who had just suffered a setback due to discomfort in his right knee and needed an injection to ease the pain, gave up a run on three hits in two-thirds of an inning for Double-A Binghamton at New Haven on Tuesday afternoon. He threw 24 pitches, 14 for strikes, walked one and struck out one.
