Ike asks for $3.7M; Murph wants $3.4M

Ike Davis and Daniel Murphy and the Mets officially exchanged arbitration demands Friday. If a settlement is not reached, the sides will go to a hearing next month, with an arbitrator picking one of the two submitted figures.
Davis asked for $3.7 million, with the Mets countering at $2.825 million.
Murphy asked for $3.4 million, with the Mets countering at $2.55 million.
Bobby Parnell settled Thursday night for $1.7 million.
