Turner: Prep same with Wright injured

By Adam Rubin

PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. -- Justin Turner said it is business as usual as far as he is concerned even with David Wright injured.

Turner noted he has received plenty of recent reps at third base because he played there in winter ball in the Dominican Republic.

"I'm doing the same thing I would have done otherwise," said Turner, who is starting Saturday's Grapefruit League game against the Miami Marlins at third base. "I'm going to take my groundballs over there, take my groundballs at second. It's something that's happened before. Two years ago when David got hurt (with the stress fracture in his lower back) I slid over and played third. Hopefully it's just a minor thing -- they're saying three to five days -- and he'll be back out and hitting in the middle of the lineup Opening Day."
