Mets in store for frigid weekend

The Mets have arrived in Minnesota for a weekend interleague series. And they have been greeted by snow.

Already 2 1/2 inches has fallen. And the forecast in Minneapolis calls for an additional inch today.

As for Friday night's series opener at the open-aired ballpark, occasional snow showers are forecast, with temperatures dipping to 28 degrees in the evening.

That's me helping shovel in front of our hotel. 10 to 12 inches of snow expected. Will build a snowman next.…
