LAS VEGAS 10, SACRAMENTO 5: Zack Wheeler was charged with four earned runs on three hits and six walks while striking out four in 4 1/3 innings. He threw a season-high 108 pitches. Three runs charged to Wheeler scored after Greg Peavey inherited the bases loaded. Josh Satin, who is hitting .350, was forced to leave the game after fouling a pitch off an ankle. Eric Campbell homered and scored three runs. Reese Havens, who replaced Satin, also went deep. Box

NEW HAMPSHIRE 5, BINGHAMTON 2: Ryan Schimpf homered in the first inning against B-Mets starter Erik Goeddel. Binghamton answered a half-inning later on an RBI groundout from Blake Forsythe. But New Hampshire broke the tie with two runs in the second. After the first two batters reached against Goeddel, Adam Loewen stroked an RBI single up the middle and John Tolisano produced a sac fly. Kevin Pillar stretched the lead to three in the third by banging an inside-the-park homer -- the second inside-the-parker the B-Mets have surrendered this week. The B-Mets struggled against New Hampshire starter Austin Bibens-Dirkx. After allowing a single to Richard Lucas in the second, he retired 12 of the next 13 B-Mets he faced, five via strikeout. Goeddel’s night ended in the fifth after the Fisher Cats loaded the bases. Shawn Teufel entered and walked Clint Robinson, forcing in a run. The southpaw escaped further damage by inducing Kevin Nolan to bounce into an inning-ending double play. Goeddel (1-2) was charged with five runs on eight hits in 4 1/3 innings. The B-Mets got a run against Bibens-Dirkx in the seventh, his final inning. Cory Vaughn belted his second homer of the season. Both have come against Bibens-Dirkx. Box

FORT MYERS 14, ST. LUCIE 2: Angel Cuan was charged with nine runs in 3 1/3 innings. He surrendered four homers. Travis Taijeron did produce a solo homer in the third before Fort Myers answered with a nine-run frame a half-inning later. Box
