Marcum on health: 'Don't have any concern'

By Adam Rubin

NEW YORK -- SNY cameras caught Shaun Marcum rolling his neck and even seemingly pointing to his shoulder in the dugout during Monday's outing, but the right-hander would not acknowledge any health concern after the Mets' 5-4 walk-off win Monday against the Arizona Diamondbacks.

Marcum allowed a first-inning two-run homer to Paul Goldschmidt and ultimately was charged with three runs in six innings, but was spared his 10th loss thanks to the Mets' late-inning comeback.

Marcum's next start will come against his former employer, the Milwaukee Brewers, on Saturday at Miller Park.

Marcum had opened the season on the disabled list with neck/shoulder discomfort.

"I don't have any concern," Marcum said about his health.
