LAS VEGAS 5, MEMPHIS 2: Francisco Pena belted a three-run homer in a five-run fourth. He had been hitless in 11 at-bats on the road trip before the long ball. Chris Schwinden allowed two runs (one earned) on five hits and a walk in six innings. Lucas Duda pinch-hit in the ninth as his rehab assignment shifted to Triple-A. Tim Byrdak retired lefty-hitting Greg Garcia, the lone batter he faced, on a pop-up in the southpaw's 51s debut after 14 appearances with Class A St. Lucie. Greg Burke earned his fourth save despite allowing three baserunners to reach in the bottom of the ninth with one out -- two via hit by pitch. Box

SAVANNAH 6, CHARLESTON 0: Luis Cessa struck out  a season-high 12 batters in eight scoreless innings while allowing four hits and walking none. Paul Sewald completed the shutout with a scoreless ninth that included three strikeouts. Brandon Nimmo went 3-for-4 and had a two-run homer in a five-run eighth. The Gnats grabbed a 1-0 lead in the third inning. Singles from Dimas Ponce, Jorge Rivero and Nimmo loaded the bases with none out. Ponce then scored on a groundball double play from Maikis De La Cruz. In addition to Nimmo's homer, Savannah picked up RBI singles from Eudy Pina, Greg Pron and Albert Cordero in the eighth. Box
