Report: d'Arnaud to stick at MLB level
By Adam Rubin
SAN DIEGO -- Travis d'Arnaud is not going anywhere once John Buck returns from paternity leave Tuesday, Foxsports.com reported.
D'Arnaud will remain with the major league club and should continue to get plenty of playing time, according to the report.
Through two major league games, d'Arnaud is 0-for-4 with four walks.
D'Arnaud remaining at the major league level appeared the likely plan once Sandy Alderson acknowledged it as an option this weekend. Still, a team official insisted to ESPNNewYork.com late Sunday that Alderson and Terry Collins still were due to discuss the issue further on the flight to Minnesota tonight and declaring that d'Arnaud was staying now was "premature."
Alderson, replying to a text message, later added: "No decision yet."
