Report: Lucas Duda alleges theft

By Adam Rubin

PHILADELPHIA -- Lucas Duda was the victim of theft, including having his checkbook and a “knockoff Breitling watch” swiped, he told police, according to the Daily News.

According to the report, a moving company had been hired by the ballclub to transport Duda’s possessions from a Kew Gardens, Queens, apartment to a new pad during the Mets’ first road trip of the season. When Duda arrived at his new apartment after the Mets completed a sweep in Arizona, Duda noticed that items worth approximately $1,600 were missing.

Duda also said that two jackets and a bracelet were missing, the newspaper reported, citing sources familiar with a complaint filed with the NYPD.
