Ryno, Duda, Shake Shack make amends

By Adam Rubin

NEW YORK -- A week after blaming Shake Shack at Citi Field for food poisoning that prompted him to lose six pounds in two days, Philadelphia Phillies manager Ryne Sandberg has made amends with the burger joint.

In a photo distributed by Shake Shack via Twitter on Tuesday, Sandberg even wears the company's T-shirt, with the quote "Safe!" attributed to him.

It's unclear precisely what led to the change of heart, but you can use your imagination.

"Safe!" THANKS @Phillies Ryne Sandberg for the instant replay & putting #ShakeShack back in the win column. #ClassAct pic.twitter.com/H1QZBaSXrP

UPDATE: Lucas Duda -- who also faulted Shake Shack for food poisoning a week ago -- apparently has come up with the same idea to wear a Shake Shack T-shirt.
