Germen likely to swing by Binghamton
By Adam Rubin
NEW YORK -- Terry Collins expects Gonzalez Germen's rehab tour to make a stop at Double-A Binghamton before the reliever is activated from the disabled list.
Germen again appeared with Class A St. Lucie on Monday night. He has been on the disabled list since May 6, with a virus and abscess.
Also on the injury front, Collins said Eric Young Jr. (hamstring) has been hitting in Port St. Lucie, Fla., and also has started running, but not yet at full speed.
Juan Lagares (rib-cage strain) still has not yet been cleared for rotational movements with his torso, which precludes swinging a bat.
