E.Y. Jr. goes 0-for-3 in rehab start
By Adam Rubin
NEW YORK -- Eric Young Jr. went 0-for-3 with a walk and run scored in what is expected to be his final rehab game with Double-A Binghamton. Young played seven innings in left field in the Sunday night game.
Terry Collins has indicated that he expects E.Y. Jr. to be in St. Louis with the Mets on Monday. That, of course, assumes the Mets do not need to add an extra reliever for a day or two.
Young, returning from a right hamstring strain, appeared in three games with the B-Mets. He went hitless in nine at-bats with two walks.
