JUPITER, Fla. -- Among the former Philadelphia Phillies on hand for a pregame ceremony honoring Jimmy Rollins on Monday at Citizens Bank Park? Current Mets outfielder Bobby Abreu, wearing a Phillies No. 53 jersey, the number he wore as a Phillie.

Rollins became the franchise's all-time hits leader on June 14, passing Hall of Famer Mike Schmidt.

Abreu, 40, played for the Phillies from 1998 through 2006. He again signed with Philadelphia this offseason, but was released in March and latched on with the Mets.

Abreu was able to attend because the Mets have an off-day Monday.
