Gee to be capped at 90-95 pitches
By Adam Rubin
NEW YORK -- Terry Collins expects Dillon Gee will be limited to 90 to 95 pitches when he returns from the disabled list on Wednesday to face the Atlanta Braves.
Gee will be taking the rotation turn of Jonathon Niese, who landed on the DL with a left shoulder strain.
Gee threw 75 pitches for the Brooklyn Cyclones on Friday in his final rehab start, so the jump of 15 to 20 pitches should not be too taxing.
Gee last appeared in the majors on May 10. He subsequently was placed on the disabled list with a right lat-muscle strain.
