home runs -- a two-run shot in the third and a three-run shot in the fifth -- to increase the Mets' lead to 8-0 against Kuhl. T.J. Rivera capped the night with a two-run blast against Robby Rowland in the eighth to make it 11-0. The Mets have hit nine homers in their past four games and lead the Florida State League with 21 long balls. Mets starter Michael Fulmer limited the Marauders to two hits in six scoreless innings. Fulmer has now blanked the Marauders for 11 consecutive innings in his past two starts. Rivera went 4-for-5 with the homer and RBI double. He is now hitting a Florida State League-leading .408. Perez has three home runs -- all against Bradenton -- since coming off the disabled list Friday. Dilson Herrera went 3-for-5 from the leadoff spot and scored twice. Whalen all the runs he needed. Mazzilli's second homer of the season came after Gavin Cecchini walked and Victor Cruzado reached on an error. Savannah added three runs in the third. With the bases loaded, Stefan Sabol plated a run with a walk. Matt Oberste then produced an RBI single. Dominic Smith grounded into a run-scoring double play. Whalen improved to 4-0. He held the Shorebirds to one run in six-plus innings. He struck out seven and walked two and lowered his ERA to 1.80. Savannah pitching allowed one run in 27 innings in the series. Before the game, Savannah placed right-hander Robert Gsellman on the disabled list with a hamstring strain. Box
