J.J. Hardy reportedly is sticking with Baltimore.

NEW YORK -- If the Mets are going to upgrade at shortstop, the plan will not include J.J. Hardy.

Multiple reports indicate the Baltimore Orioles are poised to announce a three-year, $40 million extension with Hardy.

Other soon-to-be free-agent shortstops include Asdrubal Cabrera, Stephen Drew, Jed Lowrie and Hanley Ramirez.

Hardy hit .268 with nine homers and 52 RBIs this past season.
