BINGHAMTON 5, ALTOONA 3: Matt Clark had two doubles and drove in a run for the B-Mets, who took the lead with three runs in the fifth inning and held on for a win. Binghamton starter Greg Peavey allowed three runs (two earned) in seven innings and struck out nine while walking only one. Chasen Bradford pitched a scoreless ninth for his seventh save. Box

TAMPA 7, ST. LUCIE 1: T.J. Rivera had two of the four Mets hits. Brandon Nimmo tripled for one of the other hits, and scored the only run on a Rivera double. Mets starter Michael Fulmer allowed just two runs in five innings, but the Yankees scored four times off reliever Jake Kuebler. Box

SAVANNAH 6, GREENVILLE 1: Jeff McNeil had three hits and drove in three runs in a game that was resumed Wednesday after it was suspended in the sixth inning (tied 3-3) on April 28. Tim Peterson allowed one run in three innings of relief, with John Mincone getting the save. L.J. Mazzilli, Jeff Glenn and Patrick Biondi each had two hits for the Sand Gnats. Mazzilli drove in the go-ahead run in the bottom of the eighth. Dario Alvarez, making just his second start of the season, threw five scoreless innings to get the win in the regularly scheduled game. Alvarez struck out 12 and walked just one, while allowing three hits. Add in five strikeouts in 1 2/3 innings from Dawrin Frias, and two more in 2 1/3 innings from Tyler Vanderheiden, and Sand Gnats pitchers combined for 19 strikeouts.
