LAS VEGAS 6, SALT LAKE 5: Ike Davis' two-out, two-run homer highlighted a five-run seventh. Davis has five homers in his past four games. He went 2-for-3 with a double and walk and is now hitting .333 in the Pacific Coast League. Justin Hampson surrendered three eighth-inning runs, but the 51s (40-36) held on. Box

BINGHAMTON 3, PORTLAND 0: Erik Goeddel (7-2) tossed seven scoreless innings and combined with Pedro Feliciano and Jeff Walters on a seven-hit shutout. Walters earned his 18th save. Feliciano has produced four scoreless appearances with Binghamton. The B-Mets (47-28) took a 1-0 lead in the second when Xorge Carrillo's two-out single plated Rhyne Hughes, who had doubled. An inning later, Cesar Puello's single drove in Danny Muno. Puello also had an RBI double in the eighth. Box

BRADENTON 6, ST. LUCIE 4 (12 innings): Randy Fontanez surrendered a two-run homer in the top of the 12th. In the bottom half, Dustin Lawley led off with a double and Robbie Shields walked with two outs, but pinch hitter Charley Thurber struck out to end the game. Tim Byrdak tossed a scoreless relief inning in his first Florida State League appearance since shoulder surgery. Dustin Lawley's two-run homer in the eighth had evened the score at 4. It was Lawley's 15th homer this season. Starter Alex Panteliodis allowed four runs in six innings. Box

AUGUSTA 3, SAVANNAH 2: Eudy Pina struck out to end the game with the tying run on third base in the top of the ninth inning. Trailing 3-1 entering the final frame, Phillip Evans walked with two outs. Jeff Glenn then singled to put runners on the corners. Albert Cordero reached on a fielding error at second base that scored Evans and advanced pinch runner Yucarybert De La Cruz to third base, but Pina K'd. Gnats starter Jake Kuebler, in his return from the DL, allowed three runs (two earned) in five innings. Outfilder Maikis De La Cruz landed on the DL with a fractured right ring finger. Box
