Nets small forward Travis Outlaw will be able to begin contact 10 days from Tuesday, the team announced in a press release.
Outlaw, who fractured his right shooting hand nine weeks ago in a during a reported offseason boxing workout and underwent subsequent surgery in Colorado, will miss exactly a week of training camp as a result. All NBA teams begin training camp on Dec. 9.
The Nets are also weighing whether to waive Outlaw via the amnesty clause. The 28-year-old has four years and $28 million remaining on his contract.
